As I expected! One of my buddies was making fun of my USB drive, since it was very tiny, claiming that it was meaningless to buy a tiny USB, especially from Sony, “It’s only a USB” he said.
**Today a concept phone by SonyEricsson features a ‘full-sized’ USB port is released!
I’ve always dreamt of mobile phones with USB ports, tiny ipods with 8000 GB and so on…. Just as I told my ignorant friend, you never know what the future ‘holds up its sleeve(s).’

It is the16th Walkman® model produced by Sony Ericsson, the W580i is not only the typical mobile/walkman creation of SE, but also has a fitness trainer packed inside the gadget!
Besides all the technological updates of revolutionary stereo headsets, integrated 2-megapixel camera, and a fitness application that I will be talking about; the W580i has a picture blogging software, where you can easily take a photo, click on send ‘to blog’, add a title and text, and post it for your friends to view instantly!
What really amazed me was the fitness application, which in turn, does really act as a personal trainer; keeping your fitness progress, monitoring your steps, running, and performance. All that and more in a 14 mm thin slider-mobile “phone?”.
Frankly, there are more features in the phone that I really didn’t get, check it out your self on this youtube.com link and on Sony Ericsson’s website! Grazie!

Sonyericsson Better Than Ever!

This is a new phone introduced by Sonyericsson. We still don’t know when will it be available in stores, but rumor has it that it will be before Apple’s iPhone (end of second quarter 07). You might visit Sonyericsson’s website to check it out, but as usual they don’t announce new phones until they are ready to sell them.
We still don’t know the exact features but as we can notice in the pictures that it is as small as the SAMSUNG PP310, as sexy as Nokia’s Soroco and perfect as any Sonyericsson’s phone, plus a 3.2 mg-pixel cybershot camera, and with 2GB storage, we expect many more.

My New Phone

I finally got the Sony Ericsson W880i! After waiting for a long time, it has been launched in Beirut with the sponsorship of Fadhel Shaker. The Phone is accompanied with Fadhel's new album. Apart from the tiny keypad buttons of the W880i, the phone is fabulously light and slim! So far (less than 24-hours) I give it a 10. I heard that It's recently unavailable in Kuwait, and found out that Al Rabt Communication Center -2405558- (located at Khld. ibn Alwaleed st.) do have a limited quantity available.

F700 – A New Revolution

SAMSUNG revealed a new revolutionary edition of its ‘Ultra portfolio’ – Ultra Smart F700, to be unveiled next week at the largest communication event, 3GSM World Congress, Barcelona 2007. The stunning mobile/pocket PC possesses various attention-grabbing features, such as a full touch-screen, QWERTY keyboard, and most astonishingly a 5-mega-pixel camera. For users unfamiliar with such advanced touch screens, a QWERTY keyboard slides for straightforward utility. The new touch-screen generation, “drag and drop” as named by SAMSUNG, was embraced to enhance menu navigation and other menu controls.
Verdict: I strongly believe that it is an enhanced version of the Qtek. Plus, the innovative touch-screen, or in other words, the new generation is patent by Apple Inc. Moreover, presentations by Apple management proved that the mobile world is yet to experience a transition in touch-screens. However, I would never underestimate SMASUNG’s vision (especially after their thrilling slim phones), not only because they sponsor Chelsea FC, but also because the F700 boasts a HSDPA 7.2Mbps data card which makes surfing the net like heaven. By the Given info plus my high expectations of SAMSUNG, I’ll give it a 7.

Prada and LG Electronics unveils their first touch screen mobile phone. The Prada phone looks similar to apple’s iPhone. It also shares similar specifications. Prada phone plays Mp3 files and Mpeg4 video files. They are almost the same size, but the iPhone is 0.4 mm thiner than the Prada phone. In addition, iPhone comes in two models 4GB & 8GB, while Prada phone comes includes an external memory slot (Micro SD).

Apple recently announced their new cell phone which is the “iPhone”. iPhone has no buttons. It has a 3.5 inch touch screen. What’s new about the iPhone touch screen is that its a multi-touch screen.
