Bon Gergai’an

Gergai'an

Can’t wait! Not to roam the streets looking for treats, nor staying at home serving the kids some candy. I can’t wait to see the latest crazy Kuwaiti (yet creative) minds will offer. At the beginning it was personalized boxes of candy. Last year, children of the sun (Shuwaikh residents) roamed the streets on a carriage, towed by a donkey; in slang its called “7an6oor”.

Let’s see this year who wins the most odd/creative gergai’an award.

Oh few years back there were gergai3an parties at home! You take the kids dressed in costumes to an indoor house gergai3an part!

Alvaro..when did the yarmouk thing start? I live in block 1 and the past two days have been like a maseera across the block and cop cars patroling. Its people you never see in the area who just decided this is the spot where degenerates are gonna hang this year/

KaLeeDo – many people told me that it all started on the first day of gergai3an.. just like every year.
I usually see them every year, as I visit family in block 1 .. or even going to duwaniya there, this year I skipped.. but i do remeber it goes back to at least 3 years..
