Once upon a time FAH and I went to a soft opening where we had falafels, falafels, and more falafels.
We didn’t try everything on the menu of course, since I just finished my diet and FAH is very picky in food. Talking about falafel, Falafel & Co. offers 5 types of falafel; Egyptian, Levantine, Spanish, Italian, and Special. I tried one of the falafels, honestly I don’t recall the name, but it was one of the best falafels I’ve ever had. I rang the owner of Falafel and Co. last night to tell him he should get the chef from the famous Falafel Sahyoun in Beirut, today, I told him to forget about it.
To our surprise, what was really even astonishing is everything other than Falafels! The Smokestack shawerma, to be precise, was breath-taking! Consisting of beef shawarma, caramelized onions, lettuce, jalapenos, roasted red-peppers, and chipotle honey tahini; priceless!
I will keep the rest for you to find out when they open up in around 10 days, at least while you wait for your table at Slider Station!
