This is a lie very hard to believe. More like convincing someone that everything Leo Messi does is a pre-planned act, or even worse, UFC fights are fixed. Take out the “v” and you’re left with Lie-strong. I was very much attached to the brand that I made sure I never missed the Livestrong corner whenever I was in a Nike Store.
Great article about the King of Dope: Lance armstrong by Paul Kimmage – Independent.ie

Alvaro!
Ma che sta di?
Listen doping has always been and will always be part of professional sports, it is like bio mimicry! people are just gonna be better at hiding the fact that they are doping!
I promise you, everyone in professional sports is on some sort of medication, some are more illegal than other, so it is a matter of degree nn nero o bianco! capito?
That being said! I think looking too much into the issues takes away from the enjoyment of the sport! it’s not like these people are cheating, it is just they are under a lot of pressure that clouds their reason of what is right or wrong a subject of much larger debate! The press like to rain on people’s parade! they will continue to do so!
We are in the age of “trust deficit” and any story that pokes holes on a perfect pictures sells more! We all know all of these athletes are doped but we continue and will continue to watch them! maybe paying them less than the colossal amounts they are receiving right now serves to alleviate the stress and hence reduce the need to dope! MAYBE!
I welcome ur response!
Ancora, mi piace la tua blog tantissimo!

Ciao Gio!
Thank you for the comment. I thought about what you said and I very much agree with you. However we should look at 2 things.
First the drugs used. Armstrong used testosterone and growth hormones! Something not even Maradona used. The drug Maradona used in 1994 was not even illegal; but not Growth hormone!
Second, I agree Armstrong was doping like people around him, but I’m also sure if they all went to Olympic Games they will be caught.
Maybe Tour De France is corrupt? I don’t know.
grazie mille

Alvaro,
Prego fratello grazie a lei!
Senti! I agree with you from an enforcement standpoint that for that at the time he did it it was illegal! but was it immoral is the issue I think that should be further discussed!
Consider the following situation, if a person was blessed by a high stature and competing in a high jump competition. There is neither a uniformity in these sport nor a baseline to gauge everything against it. The effort that the international agencies are doing to criminalise and demoralise doping has done the following:
1. created a massive black market.
2. many new jobs have surfaced (i.e. doping specialist, and doping pharmacists.
and I think they will never reach the uniformity they are striving for, because people inherently are not uniform.
IT IS HOWEVER ILLEGAL! ;)
