Who's the best in Kuwait? 
Yes a friend of mine is visiting Kuwait. He is Italian, so i won’t take him out to just any restaurant. Other than Mubarakiya Souk and other similar attraction, what would you recommend on the to-do list? I do live in Kuwait, but have been doing the same things forever.

I was asked by a Twitter follower to provide the same thing so I made up two posts so far: one shopping and one for places of interest. The third, dining and restaurant, is very big and I’m still working on it :)

* Al othman house in hawally (check out there instagram @heritage_team to see if its officially open)
* Dar Al Athaar al Islamiya
* Fereej swaileh
* Mbarikiya
* Chalet the weather is still nice for a swim
let him taste home made kuwaiti food:)

fereej swailih food is not as good as it used to be… if u know any other Kuwaiti restaurants it would be better I think…

Take him out to any restaurant he will like it, since food in Italy is so typical, basic, and has not changed for gazillion years. let him taste some good sea food, if he likes sea food that is.

Take him to Green Land on shari3 il9arrafeen (best indian restaurant EVER) , CAP (Contemporary Art Platform) and then Avenues to show him an example of Gulf-style capitalism gone rampant. lol.
