iTunes Match workaround

Probably most of you have already heard about iTunes Match which was introduced a year ago by Apple, but I’m sure many of you haven’t used it due to the fact that it requires a US credit card. No, iTunes gift cards won’t work, but don’t worry I have a workaround!!

Let me first begin by explaining what is iTunes Match:

iTunes Match simply stores all of your music that is available in your iTunes library to the cloud. For an annual fee of $25, you can store up to 25,000 songs and you could either stream them or download them to your iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, or PC. This means that you don’t need to sync your music again! Whenever you buy a new device, all you have to do is turn on iTunes Match and your entire music library will appear immediately.

So how are you going to activate iTunes Match?

Well first you need an US iTunes account, and then you can get a prepaid electronic credit card from here. You can get a $50 prepaid e-credit card that is designed to work with iTunes Match for around $74. They will email you the credit card details usually in 1 hour. I’ve tried it last night and it worked:)
