Yes I thought the movie Inception is a new breed of fictional movies, something from the Shutter Island school of thought, but again Shutter Island is nothing compared to Incpetion. Just when you thought SALT would be this year’s blockbuster (which I found it to be an above average movie with a lame ending), Christopher Nolan had a different opinion.
Coming from a background which included directing The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Insomnia, and yet another Batman movie on the way, Inception is a masterpeice which will never be matched – whatsoever!
Nolan is seriously my Hitchcock .

Kal – do you know that I still did not hear anyone say that this movie was fair or good? the responses I got were either “sucks big time” or “a killer” !

did u watch Following? i thought it was better than Memento which is quite a feat in itself, highly recommended. and considering the fact that Nolan has written and directed all his movies with the exception of Insomnia, which lets face it: wasnt close to being as good as any of his rest, it’s obvious that the man is a genuine genius who imagines/envisions something and then actually creates it. i really wish that one day he will “create” a witty comedy.. he already made guy ritchie seem like an amateur didnt he?
then again,Nolan’s british so that explains everything.
and on that note, check out Nick Love’s films i’m sure you’ll appreciate. you seem like a guy who knows what’s up Alvaro :)

Memento is much better than The Following, and I actually like The Prestige more than Inception and The Dark Knight. I like directors who direct fewer movies. There is no distraction, and quality over quantity comes to mind.
