I think a major problem of traffic in Kuwait is that people here are very slow, in reaction speed of course. I think we once had a countdown timer placed on traffic lights and later removed. With this design from Stankovic, at least drivers in the front row, with the help of the circular countdown grid, will know when to release hand brakes and shift their gears to get ready to launch. Doesn’t it annoy you when the traffic light goes green and then red again before you even moved!

Oh and that normal human 30 sec reaction time might actually do Kuwait some good! 3ala kamiyat il nas ili imootoon min ilnas ili e6oofoon il7amra, having a timer will surely make a decent number of ppl running a red light before the timer expires.

Tu – we have red light cameras, you want to leave ahead of time take the penalty.. Don’t look at it this way.. think of it if the timer expires then you have an additional 5 seconds before going green? like this people wont try cutting the red lights
